The most powerful thing in the world.

Year 1991, PV Narsimha Rao was dying. His neck would wobble every time he opened his mouth to speak. Nobody thought he would live more than a few months. Then something miraculous happened. His health improved. Five years later, he retired after serving as the 9th PM of India, before finally dying in 2004.

What made PV Narsimha defy death and live 13 years more?

Freud had famously said that all motivation comes from two desires: the sex urge and the desire to be great. Desires rule our world. The most common of them are money, sex, and power. But a few people have still managed to control, even eliminate them.

The force that transformed a dying man into one of the best PMs India has ever seen was not Power. Not even Money. That intangible, yet the single most powerful force is the “feeling of importance”. The same thing which Freud described as “the desire to be great”. People have learned to tame the other natural desires, but NOONE can control this desire.

Everyone gets his feeling of importance in a unique way. Politicians feel themselves important when they are able to exert power over others. Criminals and terrorists get this feeling when they see others being terrified of them, and after successfully committing crimes. This desire is the reason why organizations give sexy and meaningless titles to their employees, to make them feel they are valuable.

But this desire to be great doesn’t necessarily comes from the ability to exert power or to make large-scale changes. Some people get it from as simple things as being different from others. This is what monks and hermits do. This is also what most researchers do, they feel themselves superior to others when they discover something the ignorant public doesn’t know about. This feeling of superiority drives the entire research area.

The same line of reasoning is used to brainwash people. “Do you want to live like millions of others who live a mundane life, those who take birth, have families, work like slaves all their lives, and ultimately die without achieving anything. Their life has no meaning. Their death doesn’t affect anything. Their existence has no value. Do you want to be like that or do you want to make an impact in the world?” From religious preachers to terrorists, everyone uses these lines to persuade people to join their organization by giving them a feeling of importance. The latest addition in this category is Anonymous. Just watch their last video.

If you know this one thing, you know the secret of all negotiations and persuasions. This is the ultimate secret of effectively dealing with people. Find out how the other person gets his feeling of importance, and give it to him. If you are able to do that, he is your slave.

The Intellectuals

In recent times, the dictionary definition of the word ‘intellectual’ has proved to be completely wrong. Literally, this word means a person who uses his mind to think rationally. But the society’s definition is the exact opposite of the literal meaning. In India, persons who use the most illogical arguments, endorse anything but the rational, propagate absurd theories, write ludicrous articles and senseless books are labelled as intellectuals.

The society’s intellectuals hardly have any idea of the ground realities, rarely provide solutions to problems and never speak the truth. Spreading lies, distorting facts are the key traits of Indian intellectuals. They live in a self-induced ambience where they believe that anyone or anything rational is their enemy. They scare the public by talking about the dangers of imaginary threats but ignore the real ones.

Think about the last time you saw the word intellectual written with a person’s name (it might be a newspaper article or a debate on TV). Now google that person’s profile. In all likelihood, you will find that they support Naxals, oppose any kind of development, sign mercy petitions for terrorists, hate a particular religion, and believe in hate-anything-that-is-Indian. But above all, you will find that they are shameless hypocrites who don’t have any morals and have lost all self-respect. If you don’t remember any such name, google search for “Indian intellectuals”. ‘Anti-India’, ‘hate’, ‘fear’, and ‘intolerance’ are some of the key words on the first page.

This behaviour of the so-called intellectuals is not limited to India. This breed of humans is found everywhere. The below paragraph is quoted from Atlas Shrugged. Here, some fraudsters who have expropriated governmental powers via trickery are contemplating the implementation of a national emergency to escalate their loot. One of them wonders whether the intellectuals would pose any problems. Someone answers:

"They won't, your kind of intellectuals are the first to scream when it's safe—and the first to shut their traps at the first sign of danger. They spend years spitting at the man who feeds them—and they lick the hand of the man who slaps their drooling faces. Didn't they deliver every country of Europe, one after another, to committees of goons, just like this one here? Didn't they scream their heads off to shut out every burglar alarm and to break every padlock open for the goons? Have you heard a peep out of them since? Didn't they scream that they were the friends of labor? Do you hear them raising their voices about the chain gangs, the slave camps, the fourteen-hour workday and the mortality from scurvy in the People's States of Europe? No, but you do hear them telling the whip-beaten wretches that starvation is prosperity, that slavery is freedom, that torture chambers are brother-love and that if the wretches don't understand it, then it's their own fault that they suffer, and it's the mangled corpses in the jail cellars who're to blame for all their troubles, not the benevolent leaders! Intellectuals? You might have to worry about any other breed of men, but not about the modern intellectuals: they'll swallow anything. I don't feel so safe about the lousiest wharf rat in the longshoremen's union: he's liable to remember suddenly that he is a man—and then I won't be able to keep him in line. But the intellectuals? That's the one thing they've forgotten long ago. I guess it's the one thing that all their education was aimed to make them forget. Do anything you please to the intellectuals. They'll take it.”

Two entirely different cultures of different time periods have the same description of intellectuals: hypocrites who hate anything that is rational. The original meaning has been distorted to such an extent that it would be better to change its dictionary definition so as to eliminate any confusion regarding the type of person intellectuals are.

Different types of AAPtards

After closely observing AAP for over a year, I have come to the conclusion that AAPtards can broadly be classified into the below-mentioned categories. These categories are intricately interlinked and there is high possibility of an AAPtard belonging to many categories.

1.       The gullible supporters: These AAPtards believe that AAP is the only honest party and Kejriwal is the only honest politician. According to them, AAP is a revolutionary party which can bring overnight change, not only in our country, but in the whole universe. They also think that all persons who support other parties are corrupt and have been bought by Ambani and Adani. They carry proofs of the entire media being sold out to BJP. They are most easily fooled and tricked into believing that AAP's agenda is the best, no matter what it really is. In short, they believe everything they read and hear from their leaders. Most of them are college students who had hitherto no interest in politics but have lately been impressed by Kejriwal’s getup and his educational background.

2.       The communist AAPtards: These AAPtards want free water, subsidized electricity, and no taxes. They want to see all the rich people of the world burn in hell. They believe every government entity and the government itself is a private property of every citizen. These are the people who made foreign women urinate in public (Somnath Bharti), they believe that any group of 10-20 persons has the right to raid any hospital, school or police station and suspend anyone who doesn’t follow their commands. Just before the dawn of the AAP, their politics was on the verge of extinction, the political spectrum of our country had no space for their ideology. They have now found solace in AAP. CPI (M)’s Karat hails Kejriwal’s AAP as communist

3.       The Modi haters: These AAPtards don’t have any long-term political commitment to AAP. They support AAP only because they hate Modi and no other party currently matches the level of AAP’s Modi-hatred in their DNA. From branding Modi as a fascist, murderer, communal and corrupt to passing obscene remarks about his married life, these AAPtards try everything to disparage him. They have no principles, neither do they have any political ambition or aspirations from AAP; they are plain Modi-haters and nothing else.

4.       The super-seculars: These are the people who organize candle marches for the so-called victims of Gaza, still mourn over 2002, but don’t even want to talk about the plight of Kashmiri Pandits. They shed tears for the children of Peshawar but have no regard for the slain children of Assam. Their politics was exterminated by the Indian voter in the Lok-Sabha, Maharashtra, Haryana and Jharkhand elections. Now, they have seen a new light in AAP as it is not hated as much as the other super-secular parties. Their politics  ranges from calling RSS a ‘Hindu terrorist organization’ to demanding reservations for ‘religious minorities’.

5.       The blind followers: These AAPtards are the only species to have IQ below zero. In their blind admiration of AAP, they have lost all their capability to think rationally. They are mostly found commenting on Facebook pages (no matter what the post is, they will write about AAP and BJP off course). They are expert in giving ‘honesty certificates' to everyone who joins AAP. Note that the certificates are valid only till the person remains an AAPtard, as soon as he changes side, he will be known as a corrupt mercenary agent of the BJP. They believe that a wrong thing done by AAP is better than that done by the BJP. They don’t have any logical arguments but have the extraordinary power of defaming and stigmatizing any person by disseminating misinformation.

6.       The Naxal supporters: They have mastered the art of mass protests, burning public property, anarchy, and hooliganism. They are experts in stalling the parliament and  opposing every kind of constitutional work. They oppose nuclear plants, coal plants, dams, SEZs and all private investment; after that they stage protests for electricity problems and lack of employment. They have become AAPtards because most of the AAP leaders (including Kejriwal himself) share, more or less, the same spirit of anarchism.  AAP wants Naxals in its fold

7.       The terrorist sympathizers: These type of AAPtards want Kashmir to be gifted to Pakistan, they demand presidential pardon to terrorists and call the Batla House encounter ‘a conspiracy’. Just a few days ago, these persons were seen justifying the Charlie Hebdo killings. They can convince you that RSS is more dangerous than ISIS, Taliban, and  LeT. Prashant Bhushan is one of them (though I respect his work as a lawyer). Some tweets of another AAP leader.

PS: If any AAPtard feels that he/she is not fitting in any of the categories, please let me know.

#IndiaWithPakistan or #IndiaWithKids

Disclaimer: This article can hurt (pseudo)secular sentiments and pro-Pakistan feelings of some persons. Proceed on your own discretion.

Just after the brutal killings of innocent kids of an army school of Peshawar by some suicidal psychopaths of Tahrik-E-Taliban (TTP), social media was instantaneously flooded (and is flooded till now) with messages of sympathy and support to the deceased children and their families. Needless to say, most of this overwhelming reaction came from the keyboards of Indians. Many ultra-(pseudo)secular senior journalist like Bachi Kakaria and Nikhil Wagle, who bake their breads by instigating and propagating hatred against RSS, also found sufficient material from this massacre to post some tweets linking these atrocious killings to Hindu organizations of India (Don’t stress your brain to find out any logic in their statements, the word ‘logic’ is not present in their dictionaries.)

Due to the enormous amount of empathy shown by Indians, #IndiaWithPak has become the most popular and trending hashtag of twitter. #IndiaWithPak is cute and dangerous at the same time. Cute, because the modern ISI – ‘Indian Secular Intelligentsia’ has again come out of its grave with the help of this hashtag. This hashtag serves them two purposes – First, it acts as a shield to avoid condemning the inhumane organizations of terrorists flourishing in Pakistan with the help of Pak government, army and the old ISI. Second, it acts as a weapon for them to expose the creation of their own mind - ‘Hindu Terrorism’ and ‘Hindu Taliban’ in India. And it does not stop here. They tell the world that the level of religious fanaticism and bigotry of ‘Hindu Taliban’ is far worse and more dangerous than the original Taliban. Their theories and arguments are outside the scope of my intellectual understanding. They probably think that RSS or any Hindu organization should now attack Army School, Patiala to maintain the ‘secular fabric’ of the world! But in spite of this kind of wicked ideology, I don’t see any real danger from the modern ISI, because they are already dead before they could turn into some real danger – thanks to the young generation of Indians who are no more falling prey to the ISI ideology.

The real dangerous thing is that we have yet again failed to distinguish between the ‘innocent Pakistani victims’ and the nation ‘Pakistan’. For the entire world, Pakistan is a synonym for ‘hell’! ‘Pakistan as a nation’ means the cosiest abode of most cruel humans – terrorists. ‘Pakistan’ means the primary patron of terrorists. Pakistan means the nation where the government, army, and intelligence agencies use terrorist whenever and wherever it suits them. Pakistan means the land where many of our most dangerous enemies are roaming freely. Pakistan means the streets where Hafiz Saeed – the master-mind of the cruellest terrorist attacks on India, more brutal and stronger in impact than the Peshawar attacks – 26/11, regularly organizes rallies and incites hatred against India. Pakistan means a nation having pitiless army which recently chopped off the head of one of our soldier, the only fault of his was that he was an Indian. Pakistan means a treacherous neighbour, who repeatedly violates ceasefire and wages wars against us without any reason at all.

‘Pakistan as a nation’ is not worthy of this kind of support and sympathy. Yes, there are some Pakistani citizens who have nothing to do with all this. But this bunch of good people doesn’t represent entire ‘Pakistan’. Pakistan is a compound of India-haters, notorious terrorists, treasonous army, anti-India government, intelligent agencies ‘and’ some common people. Therefore, #IndiaWithPakistan is egregious, anti-national and shameful for a patriotic and humanitarian Indian. Why not think of something other, why not show your support to the deceased children and write ‘#IndiaWithKids’, and why not ‘#IndiaWithHumanity’? I don’t understand why Indians are afraid of condemning Taliban, terrorists and the Pakistan government. Why not ‘#ShameOnTaliban’, ‘#EndTerrorism’ or ‘#ShameOnPakGovernment’.

There are tens of other hashtags, use them, but don’t use ‘#IndiaWithPakistan’, because when you write ‘With Pakistan’, you are indirectly supporting the same terrorists who murdered the innocent kids.

Pakistan is an enemy of India.

India should not support Pakistan.

Karunanidhi changes his name as it had Sanskrit origins and thus against Tamil culture

Chennai. DMK boss Karunanidhi today gave a sharp reply to his critics who were calling him a hypocrite for his Sanskrit originating name despite being a virulent opponent of everything Sanskrit, Hindi, and Hindu.
In a move that comes as a slap on all Hindi speakers, he changed his name from Karunanidhi to Compassion. Karunanidhi alias Compassion, later clarified that he was not aware that ‘Karunanidhi’ was a Sanskrit word, else he would have taken this decision long back and helped Tamil Nadu reach new level of self-respect and self-awareness.
Sources tell Faking News that Karunanidhi was browsing Facebook early the morning on his smartphone, when he came across a post that described the meaning and origin of the word ‘Karunanidhi’.
The 90-year-old leader immediately flung the phone on the floor with his full force. Out of acute pain, which arose out of this insult to his self-respect, he emitted such a deep and loud cry that people up to the distance of 5 kms were forced out of their sleep. Doctors had to give him sedatives and sleeping pills to control the situation.
But within one hour, he regained his consciousness and ordered for a press conference. He immediately announced that he was changing his name to Compassion to save the Tamil culture. On being asked what the relation is between Tamil culture and the English word Compassion, he didn’t say anything.
When this Faking News reporter asked, “How the word Karunanidhi is against Tamil culture?” Karunanidhi angrily shouted – “DON’T SPEAK THAT WORD.”
Post this revelation by the party patriarch, some DMK supporters are now claiming that they lost the last elections due to the word Karunanidhi’s relation with Sanskrit.
“But better late than never. We have again shown that DMK is the only party which respects Tamil culture. We have left AIADMK miles behind. We challenge Jayalalithaa to change her name,” said an excited supporter of DMK.
If sources are to be believed, Jayalalithaa is very worried due to this incident and is contemplating a similar name change process to show that AIADMK also respects Tamil culture.

Does India need new IITs? Is it quality vs. quantity?

The announcement of Indian government to open five more new IITs has created a buzz among people. Most of the common people are seeing it as a decision to eradicate the dearth of quality higher education technical institutes, for odds of a student getting a seat in any of the IITs and ISM, Dhanbad is less than 0.8% (not to forget some new IITs, which by no means, can be called ‘Quality Institutes’). On the other hand, most of the students and alumnus are comprehending this decision it as a threat to the brand IIT.

Many people are contemplating this decision as quality versus quantity. Some are saying that the sheen of brand IIT will tarnish because now less intelligent, less talented and low-ranked students will get the prestigious IITian tag. But is it really true? Do IITs still flourish the most brilliant minds of our country?  Do all IITians still have the same veneration and status in society as they had had only 7-8 years ago? Answer to all these questions is NO. Chances of getting admission in an IIT are infinitely increased if you are born in some particular caste. 50% students of IITs are from reserved categories. One may simply understand by looking at cut-offs that these 50% students are not that talented and are not of the level of general category students. One may argue about their hidden and creative talent or their passion and desire of getting admission in IITs, but the fact is they have not been able to match the performance of the rest 50% students. The selection criteria are completely different depending on one’s caste. Would these 50% students ever get a chance of studying in IITs had they not been born in their caste? A student getting 70 marks, another one getting 120 and a more hard-working student getting 170 marks study the same course in the same institute, but a student getting 150-155 doesn’t get admission anywhere. Where is the quality in all this process?

Quality is a very nice word to read. India really needs quality in every zone if it is to become a developed nation. But the policy-makers of our country don’t like this very word. They have been preferring caste over quality from the time the caste based politics came into existence. All that matters to them is appeasement of castes or categories and vote bank, and it’s not going to change till the end of caste based politics. Many people who work hard do not get what they desire only because they have taken birth in General Category. But the people who have less knowledge, work less and consequently perform worse eat the cake baked by others.

Keeping in mind that quality is not the first priority to grab a seat in a good institute or land a government job, we should now think again over this decision. If more Institutes are opened or more jobs are created, more talented people who have not got any dais to unveil their potential due to their caste will be benefited. By that way some reserved categories will definitely get seat or job after scoring even lesser marks, but that should not bother much. We should make sure that not a single talent is wasted even if we are obliged to include some less talented ones. This is not limited to the context of opening educational institutes, but it is valid for every area where caste overshadows talent.

Quality has already been diluted to such an extent that increasing quantity will do no further harm to it. But increasing quantity would provide opportunities to unfairly treated sections/General Category of our society.
